A high-resolution transmission electron microscopy study of the {10(1)over-bar-1} twin-boundary structure in alpha-Ti

中文摘要 | Using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, the observation of a {<10(1)over bar 1>} twin boundary in alpha-Ti is reported. Relaxed atomic models and image simulation are used to investigate the atomic structure. The modelled structure which gives the best fit to the experimental image indicates that the twin interface is a simple flat atomic plane. The present result confirms the twin structure which has been offered theoretically by previous authors. |
