中文摘要In this paper we report that in NiO nanoparticles coated with surfactant molecules, a structural transition occurs after proper thermal treatment. The electronic structure variations induced by the transition have been observed through X-ray photoelectron spectra. The local screening effects are more important than the bulk in structural unstable NiO nanoparticles, which is in contrast to the case of the CuO nanoparticles.
