中文摘要Polycrystalline R2Co17 with R = Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Ho, Er, Tm and Lu were investigated by measuring the temperature dependence of the ac-initial susceptibility chi. A spin reorientation transition is found for Nd2Co17 and Pr2Co17. An unexpected peak in chi(T) is detected for Tb2Co17 (170 K) and Ho2Co17 (100 K). Since there is no anomaly detectable in Lu2Co17 and Gd2Co17, it is assumed that these peaks are caused by the crystal field experienced by the rare earth ions.
