Determination of the reasonable proportion of ecological water used of river ecological system

英文摘要Models of the proportion of ecological water requirement (EWR) and ecological water used (EWU) were put forward. Using the models, the EWU proportion based on EWR, and reasonable proportion of EWU suitable for the local situation of water resources and social economic development were calculated with overall consideration of actual social economical water use. Then, EWR of river ecological system was calculated with an objective renewing the ecological system of the Haihe river to the level in the 1970s. The thresholds of the EWR were 16%-66%. The proportion of actual EWR of the Haihe River during 1999-2002 revealed that the EWU has not been satisfied. Considering the coordination with the social economic development of the Haihe area, the reasonable proportion of Haihe EWU should be maintained within threshold value of 16%-46%.
