Unit hydrograph with spatial-temporal variation of rainfall with TRMM and gauge data

英文摘要 | The Spatial-temporal variation of rainfall is the main cause of the change of confluence process and storage effect in watersheds. It disobeys to the linear premise of utility of unit hydrograph (UH). This paper put forward a new S-curve method by establishing the relationship between the parameters of S-curve got from Sherman UH and Spatial-temporal variation of rainfall based on ANN() model. This method can provide corresponding UH as for any rainfall, and it is more flexible in hydrological computation and forecasting compared to the traditional method by classifications of UH. The method was applied in Fujiang river watershed with the precipitation got from gauge, TRMM (The Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission), TRMM-gauge. The result shows that: taking advantage of the accuracy of gauge precipitation in point and the reasonable space distribution of TRMM precipitation can get better UH compared to that got from TRMM or gauge only. In addition, TRMM can be used to establish UH and the result is acceptable which shows that UH model based on TRMM can be used for areas where ground-based rainfall networks are sparse or nonexistent. |
