英文摘要 | About 40 years of climate fluctuation and land-cover changes in the middle reaches of the Yellow River basin were analysed. The precipitation from the 1970s to the 1990s decreased by 51.54 mm compared with that from the 1960s to the 1970s. According to three decades of land cover maps, the primary land-cover changes are that forestland turned into sparse and shrubby forestland, and the shrubby and sparse forestland turned into grassland. A monthly water balance model was developed and adopted to simulate the impact of climate fluctuation and land-cover changes on runoff and to determine their contributions to annual runoff. The runoff depth decreased by 37.02 mm between the 1970s and the 1990s compared with that between the 1960s and the 1970s. Of this amount, about three-fifths of the runoff decrease was caused by land-cover changes and two-fifths by climate fluctuation. |
