中文摘要the development of high temperature pem fuel cells (ht-pemfc, working at 100-200℃) has attracted more and more attention worldwide. proton exchange membrane, as the most important material & module during the development of the ht-pemfc, is one of the hottest topics in the pemfc area. organic –inorganic membrane based on nafion® and inorganic nanometer size fillers is considered as a promising route in the preparation of so called “composite electrolyte membranes” for fuel cells with high performance at lower relative humidity and elevated temperature. one of the most widely investigated solutions is to incorporate hydrophilic inorganic nano particles into the nafion matrix to prepare inorganic-organic composite membrane. in this presentation, preparation methods, characterization and single cell tests of sulfonation and unsulfonation nafion®/sio2 composite membrane were presented. for preparation, unsulfonation nafion®/sio2 composite membranes were fabricated via in-situ sol-gel reaction and sulfonation nafion®/sio2 composite membranes were prepared by soaking in-situ sol-gel derived nafion®/sio2 composite membrane in sulfuric acid sulfonation. a novel technique was proposed in controlling the nano particle size by altering the reactant concentrations of in-situ sol-gel reaction. then, sulfonation and unsulfonation nafion®/sio2 composite membranes were characterized by sem/edax, tem, tga, mechanical tensile test ,etc. finally, the pem fuel cell technologies with respect to system were introduced and an experimental ht-pemfc system was integrated and tested for hundred hours at elevated temperature & low humidity.
