英文摘要A new highly oxygenated flavone, namely 8, 3'-dihydroxy-5, 6, 7, 4'-tetramethoxyflavone (1), together with other five known flavonoids were isolated from the tropical plant Vernonia saligna. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral (MS, IR, UV, 1D & 2D NMR) measurement and chemical evidence.
