Fuzzy Comprehensive-Quantifying Assessment in Analysis of Water Quality: A Case Study in Lake Honghu, China

中文摘要Fuzzy comprehensive-quantifying assessment (FCQA) is proposed in this paper, which developed the index (Save) by applying a quantifying method to the fuzzy comprehensive assessment (FCA). By using the FCQA method, water quality in Lake Honghu (China) was evaluated and the temporal and spatial variations were analyzed based on the monitoring data collected during 1981-2006. Results show that the FCQA method is more reliable and has higher resolution compared to the conventional FCA method. The results also suggest that TP, COD(Mn), and TN are the major pollutants in Lake Honghu. Temporal and spatial variations of water quality show that there is a strong relationship between human activities and water quality, and that excessive enclosure culture is the key internal pollution source threatening the lake at present.
