中文摘要As we reported in a previous article, a fullerene-like hydrogenated carbon (FL-C:H) film was prepared in our laboratory. In this work, we highlighted the friction performance of the film in air with different relative humidity (RH). The results show that the tribological behavior of the film strongly depends on RH. The friction coefficient and wear rate of the film increased with increase in RH. SEM images of the wear surface of the Si3N4 ball after tribological ball-on-disk tests in different RH showed that large flattened-shaped wear debris formed and the transferred materials were not well adhered to form a compact transfer layer at RH more than 40%. The result of the XPS analysis showed that a tribochemical reaction existed between the FL-C:Hfilmand the environment, and an oxidated polymer containing carboxylic function was formed. Combining the results of SEM and XPS analyses of the worn surface, the tribological mechanisms of the film in different RH were discussed in detail.
