英文摘要 | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a wavelength-variable laser, which can eliminate the need for highly accurate temperature control when performing gridless control.SOLUTION: A method for controlling a wavelength-variable laser comprises: a first step of inputting a second wavelength; a second step of acquiring a driving condition including a set temperature of an etalon for causing the wavelength-variable laser to perform laser oscillation at a first wavelength; a third step of calculating, based on the wavelength difference between the first wavelength and the second wavelength, and the set temperature of the etalon, a set temperature of the etalon for laser oscillation at the second wavelength; a fourth step of controlling the temperature of the etalon to the set temperature of the etalon, and controlling the feedback of the temperature of the wavelength-variable laser so that the ratio of a first photoelectric current and a second photoelectric current becomes a first target value; a fifth step of inputting information indicative of a wavelength shift amount from the second wavelength; a sixth step of calculating a second target value of the ratio of the first photoelectric current and the second photoelectric current for realizing the wavelength shift amount; and a seventh step of controlling the temperature of the wavelength-variable laser so that the ratio becomes the second target value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
