英文摘要The invention is capable of recording sub-data. An optical disk device (20) forms a recording mark (RM) along a virtual irradiation line (TL) on an optical disk (100) by controlling a laser diode (51), which is the light source, according to recorded primary data information (Da) based on primary data. Then, the optical disk device (20) forms the center of the recording mark (RM) displaced from the irradiation line (TL) in the focal direction by shifting the target depth in the focal direction according to recorded sub-data information (Db) based on sub-data.
