英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain a simple driving circuit for semiconductor laser which can cope with both recording and reproducing actions of information, by using a circuit which bypasses the detection current corresponding to a superposed recording current from the total detection current of a laser light intensity detecting part when a recording current is supplied. CONSTITUTION:A compensating circuit 4 controls a drive current I2 so as to keep a fixed level of the optical output Pr. The total detection current I4 of a photodiode 2 is equals to I6+I7, where the total optical output is refeered to as Pw when a record ing current I3 is flowed with superposition to a semiconductor laser LD1 and the superposed detection current of a photodiode 2 corresponding to the current I3 is I7 respectively. Then the current I4 is converted into voltage through the resistance of a laser light intensity detecting part 3. Then only the component of the current I7 is extra and the current I2 changes. here a current I5 flowing to a transistor TR11 is controlled so that the current I7 is supplied to a TR13 of a current extracting circuit 10. The current I7 is proportional to the current I3 and therefore the current I5 can be set easily at I3/k by means of a fixed attenuator 9 as long as a coefficient is defined as 1/k. Thus the constant (k) of the attenuator 9 is set so that I7=I5=I3/k is satisfied. |
