英文摘要PURPOSE:To simply and accurately regulate an output intensity by unitizing a semiconductor laser, a photodetector, an amplifier, a reference signal generator, and regulating means, and regulating the output intensity of the laser by the regulating means. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser 1, a photodetector 9, an amplifier 11, regulating means 17, and a reference signal generator 21 for generating a reference signal Vref are composed in a unit 18 so that the unit 18 can be replaced due to its deterioration, and the output signal of the amplifier 11 and the reference signal Vref from the generator 21 are applied to a comparator 12. The unit 18 is manufactured and the output intensity of the laser 1 is regulated at 17 by a maker, and then delivered to a user, and the user needs not to regulate the output intensity of the laser 1 due to the deterioration at the time of replacing the unit 18.
