英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To eliminate a variation in the oscillation wavelength due to temperature change by supplying a current of the same pulse pattern as that of a pulse current applied to a semiconductor laser to a cooler having an equal temperature rising rate to that of the laser. CONSTITUTION:A cooler 15 for cooling a semiconductor laser 11 is provided. The output pulse current of a modulator 12 is branched to be supplied to a current regulator 16, set to a suitable current value by the regulator 16, and a current of the same pulse pattern as that of a pulse current applied to the laser 11 is applied to the cooler 15. Since the temperature rising rate of the cooler 15 is selected to the same as that of the laser 11, the temperature variation is cancelled by cooling the temperature rise of the laser 11 due to the pulse modulation current 13 of the modulator 12 oppositely at the same speed. |
