| 英文摘要 | Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is a light branching and coupling device which is simple, inexpensive and reliable. The device comprises a light focusing transmission body having a refractive index which gradually decreases from the center towards the periphery in a cross section perpendicular to the center axis thereof in a manner such that light which is incident from one of two end faces perpendicular to the center axis may propogate undulatingly to the other end face at a given pitch. The body has a length which is a positive integral multiple of about 1/4 pitch. A reflector is positioned at a distance from the one end face of the body along the center axis, the distance being an odd number multiple of about 1/4 pitch. |
