CONSTITUTION:On an LiNbO3 substrate 1, an incidence part 5 of depth d2, a width tapered incidence part 2 of depth d2 and an optical waveguide 3 of depth d1 are constituted. Further, a depth tapered part 4 which varies in depth from d2 to d1 is provided at the coupling part between, specially, the width tapered incidence part of constant depth d2 and the width taper incidence part 2 of the optical waveguide 3. |
