英文摘要A semiconductor light emitting device having a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements of different emission wavelengths capable of reducing the number of parts and simplifying the configuration of an optical system, comprising a substrate and at least two stacks each comprised of an epitaxial growth layer comprised of at least a first conductivity type clad layer, an active layer, and a second conductivity type clad layer on the substrate, the stacks being spatially separated, the compositions of at least the active layers being different between the stacks, and a plurality of types of light having mutually different wavelengths being emitted from the active layers in parallel with the substrate and in substantially the same direction, and a method for producing the same.
