| 英文摘要 | Since the China-US diplomatic relationship has been normalized in 1979 and China＇s gradually rising as the implementation of policy of reform and opening up, studies on the his- tory of science and technology in modern China by US-based scholars have been steadily growing. A- mong the Western countries, the United States has become an important one for such studies. This paper briefly surveys the literatures through such aspects as comprehensive studies, specific subjects, academic institutions and organizations, scientists, nuclear weapons and technology. It gives a snap shot of the accomplishments by the US-based scholars. Moreover, the paper also summarizes their strengths and weakness, and discusses its possible future trend.[ |
