In an exemplary embodiment, the optoelectronic device includes a device body that includes an active region having a device length defined by a back facet and a front facet. The device includes an internal grating to enhance spectral performance. The optoelectronic device further includes an anti-reflective coating on the front facet and a grated waveguide located adjacent said front facet. |
