| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To enhance a wavelength selectivity and a light-emitting efficiency by a method wherein a grating coupler part is formed in one part of a semiconductor laser and a cylindrical lens is formed between the semiconductor laser and a reflection optical system. CONSTITUTION:From one part of guided light excited in an active layer of a semiconductor laser part 1, a beam with a Gaussian distribution having a spread is radiated in an x-direction from a grating coupler part and with a distribution which has a sharp directivity and which is reduced in an exponential function manner is radiated in a y-direction. The radiated beam is converged by using a cylindrical lens 6. A distribution width of an x-direction component can be set to a desired value by controlling a width of a ridge and a converging power of the lens 6; a distribution width of a y-direction component can be set to a desired value by controlling a coupling length of a coupler 2. Thereby, light intensity distributions of the x-direction component and the y-direction component of a coupling beam can bd set by using respectively independent parameters, and a distribution of an optimum coupling beam can be obtained. Consequently, a device can be designed optimally, and a wavelength selectivity and a light-emitting efficiency are enhanced. |
