| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To improve the coupling efficiency of a light emitted from a semiconductor laser to an optical fiber by arranging a magnetooptical element for forming an optical isolator, a polarizing separator, and an optical system for coupling the output light of the lager to the fiber between magnetic circuit elements. CONSTITUTION:In a coupling optical system for coupling a light 8 emitted from a semiconductor laser 1 to be a diffusion light near substantially a parallel beam by a first lens 2 to an optical fiber 4 via a second lens 3, a polarizing separator (polarizer) 5 is disposed near the laser 1, a magnetic circuit element 9 is disposed between the lens 2 and the lens 3, and a polarizing separator (photodetector) 6 is disposed near the incident end face of the fiber 4. Accordingly, the constituent of the isolator to be inserted between the lenses 2 and 3 can be deleted to reduce an interval between the lenses 2 and 3. Thus, the coupling efficiency of the light emitted from the laser 1 to the fiber 4 can be improved. |
