英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To derive light energy having high coupling efficiency and good beam quality from the end face of an optical fiber by using a lens array which is obtained by arranging a distribution refractive index lens and condenses and collimates the output of an array semiconductor laser and a focusing lens. CONSTITUTION:Light beams emitted from the respective stripes of the multistripe array semiconductor laser 1 are respectively collimated by the lens array 3 obtained by arranging the distribution refractive index lens corresponding to each stripe in the ratio of 1: Then, the flux of light beams is focused in a lump by a single lens 4 and conducted to an optical fiber 5, then the shape of the beam is corrected by the multiple reflection in the fiber 5, and the light beam emitted from the fiber is derived. Thus, the transversal mode light having high efficiency and high quality is obtained. |
