英文摘要PURPOSE:To mount a photoelectric converter in a high positional accuracy by forming a fusion-bonding metal thin film on the converter or a board in which the converter is formed. CONSTITUTION:Photodiodes 105A, 105B, 105C, 105D to become photoelectcic converters are so formed that the photodiodes 105A, 105B are on a board 106A and the photodiodes 105C, 105D are on a board 106B. An In film 107 is formed as a fusion-bonding metal thin film on its rear surface. Thus, fusion-bonding metal is not melted by heating in the case of submounting or die bonding of a semiconductor laser. Since it can be fusion-bonded in a thickness of several mum, its positional accuracy is raised, and necessity of mounting while confirming the accuracy of an optical axis direction at the time of mounting is eliminated to be simple.
