| 英文摘要 | A tunable laser is deliberately used as a fixed wavelength laser, so as to achieve a coolerless design. A coolerless wavelength locked laser source comprises a tunable laser, which is tunable over a wavelength range substantially similar to the shift in laser wavelength associated with a predetermined range of operational temperature by applying an electric signal to the tunable laser, electrical controlling means for tuning the laser wavelength, means for monitoring the laser wavelength, and feedback control circuitry. In use, a portion of an optical output of the tunable laser is coupled to the laser wavelength monitoring means and the wavelength is compared to a predetermined reference wavelength. The feedback control circuitry is operative to provide a feedback signal that is used to generate an electrical signal to tune the laser wavelength of the tunable laser. In this way the wavelength of the laser source is substantially locked to the predetermined reference wavelength over the range of operational temperatures. |
