英文摘要The invention relates to an optoelectronic component which comprises a laser diode. The lower face of said laser diode is mounted on a support and the laser diode is designed to emit electromagnetic radiation in a lateral radiation direction via a radiation surface of a lateral face and a radiation-guiding layer arrangement being provided in the radiation direction in front of the lateral face of the laser diode. Said layer arrangement has at least one first layer and a second layer, the first layer being arranged on the support, the second layer being arranged on the first layer, the first layer and the second layer being contiguous via an interface, the second layer being transparent for the electromagnetic radiation, and the first layer having a smaller refractive index than the second layer. The layer arrangement is designed and arranged such that the electromagnetic radiation of the laser diode is coupled into the second layer. The second and the first layer are formed such that the electromagnetic radiation in the second layer is guided to a radiation surface of the second layer, the electromagnetic radiation being emitted via the radiation surface of the second layer, and the second layer consisting of a moldable material.
