| 英文摘要 | Heat sinks for semiconductor laser devices are manufactured by processing a surface of a panel (10) into a mirror surface (12), forming a plurality of substantially parallel photomasks (14a - 14e) spaced at predetermined intervals on the mirror surface (12), etching the mirror surface (12) through the photomasks (14a - 14e) to define grooves (16a - 16e), the grooves (16a - 16e) and the mirror surface (12) jointly providing edges (20) therebetween, removing the photomasks (14a - 14e) from the panel (10), and thereafter, cutting the panel (10) along the grooves (16a - 16e) into a plurality of heat sinks (18). Each of the heat sinks (18) has a surface having a desired ultrahigh level of surface finish accuracy up its edge (20), and can be manufactured relatively inexpensively. |
