英文摘要An optical information recording/reproducing device (1) includes a light quantity adjusting element (19) which can adjust light quantity of laser light emitted from a laser diode unit (15) by using control information from outside. The device (1) further includes a computer (13) which sets the light quantity adjustment degree of the light quantity adjusting element (19) to a desired value by deciding control information in accordance with a power change information file F expressing relationship between a light quantity adjustment degree of the emitted light by the light quantity adjusting element (19) and a power change degree of the emitted light on a recording medium (3).
