英文摘要PURPOSE:To form recording pits in an accurate shape, by superposing a pulse wave having large leading-edge amplitude upon a DC bias and thus generating a driving current for a semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor laser is supplied with the current generated by superposing the pulse currents IW1 and IW2 upon the DC bias current IR. Consequently, the leading-edge amplitude of pulses is increased to form accurate recording pits in an optical disk.
