| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of noise, by switching the light output of a semiconductor laser which oscillates in single longitudinal mode when a noise appears in the light output of the laser. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from the back surface of the semiconductor laser 1 is utilized to control the light output of the semiconductor laser 1 to a constant value by the loop of a photodetector 2, arithmetic circuit 3, and driving circuit 5. The output of the photodetector 2 is passed through an LPF6 and an envelope detecting circuit 7 to detect noise from the semiconductor laser Once the noise exceeds a specific value, a comparator 8 operates to put a flip-flop 9 in toggle operation, and consequently a reference voltage of the arithmetic circuit 3 is switched to set the light output of the semiconductor laser 1 to a different value. Consequently, an operation point where the noise is generated is transferred to the operation point having less-noise. |
