| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To always ensure the stable start for the driving system of a semiconductor laser beam, by dividing a scanning period into a period during which a photodetector is scanning a beam and another period during which the photodetector is scanning the surface of a photosensitive drum and controlling separately the laser outputs of both period. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser 1 is driven by a laser driving circuit 6, and the current of the circuit 6 is modulated with a pulse modulating circuit 8 and an analog modulating circuit 9 by the pulse supplied from a signal generator 10. In this case, the active current is set at I1 when the light beam given from a polarizer 2 is scanning a photodetector 5. While the active current is set at I2 when the light beam is scanning the surface of a photosensitive drum 4. These currents I1 and I2 are set from outside by a level setter 11, and the timing of modulation is obtained by the signal given from a photodetection processing circuit 12 which uses the output of the detector 5 to an input. Then the outputs of both scanning periods are controlled separately. Thus the stable start is always is ensured for the driving system of a semiconductor laser beam. |
