英文摘要PURPOSE:To form a hole in a satisfactory form to a disk by setting the laser output intensity at its maximum level at rise, and modulating the intensity so as to reduce the level of intensity exponentially. CONSTITUTION:When a signal to be recorded and shown in a figure (a) is supplied through a terminal A, a differential pulse (figure b) is obtained through a differentiating circuit 3. This pulse is supplied to the base of a transistor TR5, and a current I shown in a figure (c) flows to the TR5. While a current IRF and a bias current IB flow to a TR3 and a TR4 respectively. Therefore a synthesized current (figure d) of currents I, IRF and IB flows to a laser LD. The output intensity of the LD is maximum at its rise as shown in a figure (e), then reduces the intensity exponentially. Thus the form of the hole drilled to a disk has no change immediately after irradiation and before the end of irradiation of the laser output.
