英文摘要PURPOSE:To reduce the deviation of the laser light quantity due to an environmental change without deteriorating the system stability, by using a cancelling circuit to compensate the effect of a write pulse emerging at the monitor voltage in a write mode. CONSTITUTION:A current is flowed to a laser diode 8 by a laser current driving circuit 7 to produce the laser light corresponding to the current. Then a current corresponding to the light quantity flows to a monitor diode 9, and the effect of a write pulse is cancelled for said current by a cancelling circuit 12 via a detection circuit 10. Then the current is fed back to an amplifier 1 A feedback signal is applied to the set value Vy via a sample/hold circuit 4 and a compensation circuit 5 to control the circuit 7. Thus it is possible to reduce the deviation of the laser light quantity due to an environmental change without deteriorating the system stability.
