英文摘要PURPOSE:To obtain a circuit easy to vary the response characteristics and having a simple construction, by producing current in correspondence to an output value of a counter which increases or decrease the output value according to an output of a comparator comparing the output of a laser light emission monitor with an initial value, and by changing the clock cycle of the counter so as to enable the response characteristics to be selected. CONSTITUTION:The CLK input of a CNT14 is supplied with a SAMPLE CLK signal set to a follow-up frequency and the UP/DOWN input of the CNT14 is supplied with a servo error signal digitized by a comparator 6. A semiconductor laser 3 is caused by driving current ID1 to emit light with a radiation power of P2. Current IM1 flows in an optical detector 4 and a voltage of E1=RIM1 is obtained by the flow resistance 5. The voltage is amplified by an amplifier to a voltage of KE1 and reaches a comparator 6 via a sample holding circuit 8 and an L.P.F.9. The voltage KE1 is compared by the comparator 6 with a reference voltage E0. If KE1 E0, on the contrary, the value of CNT14 is caused to go DOWN to decrease the driving current ID If KE1=E0, the CNT14 goes UP and DOWN repeatedly so as to stabilize the current ID1 at a constant level.
