英文摘要PURPOSE:To control the wavelength of a semiconductor laser to a wavelength easy to be most stabilized at all times by detecting a driving signal inputted to the semiconductor laser before it is inputted to the semiconductor laser and deciding the pulse width of the driving signal. CONSTITUTION:When driving signals 7a or 7b are being inputted, the pulse width of the signals 7a and 7b being inputted is decided in an output control section 11 during a time when the signals are delayed by a delay circuit 9, and modulation signals through which driving currents are to what extent increased or reduced in response to the decision are outputted to a modulation section 10. Accordingly, the driving signals 7a and 7b reaching while being delayed from the delay circuit 9 are modulated by the modulation signals inputted from the output control section 11 in the modulation section 10, and the current values of the driving signals outputted to a semiconductor laser LD are increased or reduced.
