英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain stable light output from the time of rising, by providing a driving circuit for a semiconductor laser with a current correction circuit which makes it output a driving current delayed by a specified time constant at the time of rising. CONSTITUTION:The output of a back beam emitted from a semiconductor laser 1 is compared with a reference signal Vref in a comparator 3, and an up-down counter 5 is operated by a difference signal. Thus the light output of the semiconductor laser l is adjusted so as to be almost constant in respect to Vref. A video signal Video. is delivered to the semiconductor laser 1 via a current correction circuit 9. As the current correction circuit 9 has a function which gives the video signal a delay of time constant r at the time of rising, the rising part of the driving current is delayed by a time constant g and is smoothed. The light output of the semiconductor laser l corresponding with the above driving current becomes almost constant from when the output rises up. |
