英文摘要PURPOSE:To improve the anti-temperature characteristics of emission intensity by making the temperature characteristics of reference voltage the same as those of a photo-diode. CONSTITUTION:A laser diode LD and a photo-diode PD monitoring the emission intensity of the laser diode are coupled optically, and the temperature characteristics of reference voltage Vr generated by a reference voltage generator 20 are made the same as those of the photo-diode PD generating monitor currents Im. Consequently, when an ambient temperature changes, monitor currents Im are drifted by the temperature characteristics of the photo-diode PD, and reference voltage Vr generated by the reference voltage generator 20 similarly alters even when monitor voltage Vm varies in response to the drift of monitor currents Im, thus preventing the effect of a temperature change. Accordingly, the emission intensity of the laser diode LD can be controlled stably regardless of the ambient temperature.
