CONSTITUTION:When a laser output starts emitting from a laser diode LD 2, power is supplied to a high frequency oscillating circuit 13, and high frequencies are superimposed. When the laser output becomes OFF, the supply of the power source into the oscillating circuit 13 is stopped, and the high frequencies are not superimposed. In this way, deterioration and breakdown of the semiconductor laser due to excessive current generated in the oscillating circuit, especially due to the excessive current generated on transmission from OFF state of the laser output to the ON state of the laser output, can be prevented. |
