英文摘要PURPOSE:To incorporate the unit to an optical pickup in a short time while extremely high positioning is maintained by simultaneously welding plural parts where the other side of a substrate in a thickness direction is brought into contact with a fitting member by means of laser light. CONSTITUTION:The unit fixed surface 20a which is brought into surface-contact with the back of the aluminum substrate 9 (which is the other side of the substrate 9 in the thickness direction and the which is the surface on an opposite side with respect to one side where a laser diode 5 and the like are installed) in the unit 1 is generated in the fitting member made by die-casting aluminum 20. When the unit 1 is positioned and mounted on the unit fixed surface 20a, plural parts P which are set along the end part of the contact surface between the substrate 9 and the unit fixed surface 20 are immediately irradiated with laser light, and plural parts P are simultaneously welded. Thus, the positioning of the unit 1 is extremely highly maintained and the unit 1 can be incorporated to the optical pickup 10 in a short time.
