英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To prevent an excessive current from flowing when a relative position changes greatly by detecting the intensity of a beam after the beam passes through an aperture and controlling the driving current of an LD chip according to the detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A beam photosensor 7 detects a beam extracted by splitting the beam having passed through the aperture 5 and its detection signal is applied to a driving current control circuit 8, which decreases the intensity of light emission by reducing the driving current of a laser light emitting element when the beam intensity increases, but increases the intensity of light emission by increasing the driving current when the beam intensity decreases. The intensity of the beam having passed through the aperture is held constant. Consequently, a laser light emitting element is prevented from being overdriven owing to a large shift in relative position. |
