英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize an optical system of an optical head for an optical disk by driving a laser element which radiates the light of a shorter wavelength with the larger optical output and radiating the light of a waveform approximate to any laser element. CONSTITUTION:The resonance length of a laser element is decided by a breaking job due to the cleavage and therefore some variance is produced. In other words, the LD-1, LD-2 and LD-3 oscillate with the least wavelength lambda1, the medium wavelength lambda2, and the largest wavelength lambda3 respectively when these LDs are driven by the same optical output, e.g., P In this case, the LD-1 which oscillates a 3-beam semiconductor laser with the wavelength lambda1 is driven with the largest optical output P3. Then the LD-2 which oscillates with the wavelength lambda2 is driven with the medium optical output P2, and the LD-3 which oscillates with the wavelength lambda3 is driven with the least optical output P Thus these three laser elements LD-1 - LD-3 can be oscillated with an approximately equal wavelength lambda3. Thus an optical system is extremely simplified. |
