英文摘要PURPOSE:To realize highly stable and reliable laser driving with low cost by installing a means to apply positive feedback to semiconductor laser output light, thereby stabilizing the output at a specified value, and reducing noise. CONSTITUTION:From a terminal 3, a signal being modulated according to the information is inputted into a processing circuit 4. At the time of regeneration, a DC signal voltage from the processing circuit 4 is applied to a comparator 9, a laser driving amplifier 5 and a comparator 14 for high frequency oscillation positive feedback use, and the optical output of a laser 1 is turned into a regenerated optical power. A voltage corresponding with the output of a voltage- current converter 6 when the value of laser output is normal, and a reference voltage from the processing circuit 4 are inputted into a comparator 9 and compared with each other. An error signal is delivered to an amplifier 5 so as to cancel the low frequency fluctuation of the laser output. At this time, positive feedback in the frequency domain is applied to the laser 1, and oscillation is enabled in high frequency region. Thereby, a desired output value is stably obtained based on the reference signal, noise is reduced, and high reliable laser driving is enabled with low cost.
