| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To eliminate the vibrations of a light beam and to attain a high speed access by using the light beam made incident on a focusing optical element as the light diffracted by a diffraction grating to control the oscillation wavelength of a laser light source, to change the diffracting angle of the diffracted light, and to control the incident angle to the focusing optical element. CONSTITUTION:When the oscillation wavelength of a laser light source 1 is controlled by a tracking error signal, the diffracting angle of a diffraction grating 4 varies and the light beam made incident on a focusing optical element 5 is deflected. Thus the condensing position of the light beam emitted from the element 5 varies in the track width direction by an extent accordant with the tracking error signal. Then an auto-tracking action is carried out. In such a case, the wavelength of the source 1 is controlled by a means which produces no mechanical action, e.g., a refractive index controller for an etalon element. Thus it is possible to prevent such an inconvenient state where the light beam vibrates on a medium due to the mechanical vibrations, etc., caused by accesses even though a wavelength control means is added to a mobile part of an optical head. As a result, a high speed access is attained. |
