英文摘要PURPOSE:To emit light with low noise stably by connecting a point in a circuit from a high-frequency current output terminal to a laser diode, with a power source terminal or grounding terminal through a resistor. CONSTITUTION:The high-frequency current output terminal of a high-frequency current superposed integrated circuit (HF-IC) 1 is capacitively connected to a terminal of a laser diode 4 through a capacitor 3, and connected to a power source terminal VDD through a resistor 2. The laser diode 4 controls the lighting level with a speed of a record readout signal according to a signal inputted from a signal terminal SIG through a buffer 5, and a high-frequency current is superposedly supplied to the laser diode 4 at the same time. As the output terminal off HF-IC 1 is connected to the power source terminal VDD through the resistor 2, the high-frequency current flowing in the laser diode 4 has a flat characteristic with respect to the oscillation frequency even if the oscillation frequency fluctuates because of the fluctuation of the power source voltage, etc., and it becomes possible for a stable high-frequency current to be superposed. And, this makes it possible to emit light with low noise stably.
