英文摘要In order that the natural frequency f of a nitride semiconductor laser (101) and the beat frequency of the beat of a returning light beam due to the separation L between the nitride semiconductor laser (101) and an optical disk (102) may resonate, the frequency difference between the natural frequency f and the beat frequency are so set that they satisfy the inequalities of the natural frequency f of the nitride semiconductor laser (101) and the separation L between the nitride semiconductor laser (101) and the optical disk (102) −0.5 ≤ mxc/ (2 x L)−f ≤ 5 (GHz) (where m is a natural number and c is the velocity of light).
