Said diode laser (340) comprises at least one diode laser bar (31) that has a plurality of emitters (342) which are arranged next to each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis thereof. The diode laser further comprises a beam shaping device that is associated with the diode laser bar (31) and is used for the laser beam (24) emerging from the diode laser bar (31). The beam shaping device comprises a fiber-optic device (28) that has several fibers (68) into which the laser beam is injected. The maximum thickness (D) of the optical fiber (68) on its end facing the diode laser bar (31) is significantly smaller than the width (B) thereof. |
