英文摘要Provided are a light source, a light source unit, and a light source module that have a small size and a high output, have high efficiency in coupling with an optical system, and are capable of causing the heating source to efficiently disperse and discharge heat. This light source unit is characterized in that the light source is a semiconductor laser array. The configuration makes it possible to raise the output of the light source and to increase the output of the light source unit as a whole. The light source is further characterized in comprising lenses for converting emitted light into parallel light, and optical elements having a plurality of optical surfaces that have different micro-tilt angles with respect to the principal surface. The micro-tilt angles of the plurality of optical surfaces that intersect with light beams, the light beams resulting from a plurality of emitted light beams passing through the principal point of the lenses, are opposite each other with respect to the principal surface.
