英文摘要The invention relates to an illumination device having at least one laser light source (1) and at least one light wavelength conversion element (2) which is designed to proportionally convert light emitted by the at least one laser light source (1) into light at a different wavelength, wherein the illumination device has at least one light sensor for monitoring the light emission, wherein the illumination device has at least two light sensors (31, 32) which are both intended to detect non-converted laser light scattered at the at least one light wavelength conversion element (2), or the two are intended to detect converted laser light, or the illumination device has at least one optical element (71, 72; 73) which is designed in such a manner that non-converted laser light scattered at the light wavelength conversion element (2) or converted laser light is directed to the at least one light sensor (38) by means of the optical element (71, 72; 73). In addition, the invention also relates to a method for operating such an illumination device.
