英文摘要This phosphor element is provided with a support substrate and an optical waveguide provided on the support substrate and formed of a phosphor, wherein: an incident surface is provided at one end, in the longitudinal direction, of the optical waveguide; an emission surface is provided at the other end, in the longitudinal direction, of the optical waveguide; the phosphor is formed of a single crystal doped with rare earth element ions; and the optical waveguide has a thickness of 3-80 μm.
