英文摘要This phosphor element 1 is provided with: a supporting substrate 2 that is formed of a metal oxide; a stress relaxation layer 10 that is provided on the supporting substrate 2; a cladding layer 3 that is provided on the stress relaxation layer 10 and is formed of a metal oxide; and a phosphor layer 4 that is provided on the cladding layer 3 and is formed of a phosphor glass or a phosphor single crystal so as to have a thickness of 80 μm or less.
